For a change of scenery from the mountains I made a trip down to Sydney to photograph Melinda and Greg's beautiful wedding. It was a great Spring day... a bit windy, but nonetheless a wonderful day with such stunning diverse locations.
Starting at the Quay West Suites Sydney in The Rocks with majestic views of the Harbour for the bride getting ready shots. We then headed to St Johns College in the University of Sydney. This was my first wedding in this chapel and I hope to do many more there. I just loved it. You could imagine you were in a movie set for Harry Potter being in this amazing Gothic building! There were so many wonderful photo opportunities as you can see in the images below.
Then for another completely different setting we headed off to Elouera Beach, Cronulla for some more stunning photos taken right on dust. God painted the sky with a majestic sunset! To finish the day it was a simple walk up the beach to very modern Australian cuisine restaurant called Summer Salt for the reception. Simply delicious! Yes, that is my shadow in the last picture taken of Summer Salt. That's one way to be in a photo rather than behind the camera all the time... well actually come to think of it, I still was behind the camera for this shot!
Thanks guys for a fantastic day. I look forward to seeing you soon.
